A nuclear weapon will be used (in other than a test capacity) somewhere in the United States of America (the 50 states and the District of Columbia) by 1/1/2010 and will be acknowledged in major publications (i.e. The London Times, The Washington Post or The London Economist). Each Yes Coupon pays $1 within 1 month of a major publication acknowledging the use of a nuclear weapon in the United States. No coupons pay $1 on Jan. 1, 2010 if no nuclear weapon has been used anywhere in United States by Jan. 1, 2010.
Intent will override wording.
