Condoleezza Rice, U.S. Secretary of State at the time of claim creation, will be the Republican Party's presidential nominee on the ballot on election day, 2008, in at least 30 states.
Note: in the event that there is more than one party that can credibly claim to be "the Republican party", I will include any nomination from a party that can claim descent from the GOP.
