The first engineering samples of the PowerPC 620 hit silicon nearly a year ago, but no further news has been forthcoming on its progress. Rumors now abound that IBM is having tremendous difficulty debugging the chip. This claim is judged TRUE and YES coupons will pay $1.00 if the current PowerPC 620 development is cut off or if the PowerPC does not ship in quantity (judge's discretion there) before December 1st 1996. If neither of those two conditions is true, the claim is judged FALSE and NO coupons pay $1.00.
