One or more electors in the Electoral College for the 2004 U.S. Presidential election will "defect" by voting other than as pledged or appointed to vote.
If more than one set of votes is received from any State or the District of Columbia, this claim refers only to votes actually accepted by Congress. If the Electoral College vote is not accepted by Congress before 2005/01/20, the claim will be judged YES. If the Electoral College vote accepted by the Senate is executed by fewer than (or more than) 538 electors, the claim will be judged YES. If the results are not made public by Congress before 2005/01/20, the claim will be judged YES. The claim may be closed immediately after the Electoral College vote is formally accepted by Congress.
